Jade is a researcher-practitioner, with a background in medicine, epidemiology, and health policy and management. His work experience includes being involved in the field of health systems for over 15 years, spanning several countries in West Asia and North Africa.

His past engagements have included multi-year projects funded by organizations such as the World Health Organization, The World Bank, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Wellcome Trust, and other UN agencies.

Past or ongoing activities have included developing national hospital performance frameworks, casemix methodology, national strategies for health systems/hospitals/programs, and evaluation of hospitals and primary care.
